| The 27th Annual Medical and Surgical Gastroenterology: A Multidisciplinary Approach is necessary to illustrate and analyze recent major advances in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disease, colorectal cancer, pancreaticobiliary diseases and liver disease. Each of these topics represents an area of active research which is rapidly changing. This seminar will focus on recent major advances in these areas. Faculty members, distinguished in the fields of surgery, gastroenterology, medicine, hepatology and transplantation, will utilize a series of lectures and symposia to present a variety of problematic topics. Interactive case-management discussions will occur based upon the didactic material presented simulating interaction between faculty and participants. |
