| This course for research nurses and coordinators includes training on all of the components required to manage a research study or program. Topics include managing grants and budgets, preparing regulatory submissions, writing study protocols, creating data collection forms, managing databases, developing recruiting plans, and supervising staff. |

Course Number: 146-10
This three-day course offering is presented primarily in lecture format with supplemental use of case studies to encourage discussion. Each session has a speaker who is considered by their peers to be well versed on that particular topic.
Participants receive research regulations, ethics documents, and copies of the presentations, along with supplementary reading material and resources for independent learning outside of the class in a binder. We also have a scheduled breakfast and lunch to allow participants time to ask questions of presenters and network with their peers.
