| This intensive week of education, conducted in residence, engages participants with a cohort of colleagues and experts to address essential skills and topics related to successful practice as a Nurse Manager. Learning occurs through innovative large and small group activities and interactive presentations facilitated by expert faculty. Nurse Manager Academy includes self-assessment and action planning for personal leadership development; skill-building in facilitating change, conflict management, and negotiation; and practical strategies for performance and financial management. |

| Who should attend: |
The Nurse Manager Academy has been designed to meet the needs of new and experienced Nurse Managers. Participants should currently hold a position as a Nurse Manager or be seriously considering such a position. |
The Nurse Manager Academy is conducted "in residence" for all attendees, even those who come from only a few miles away. Participants agree that the residential requirement allows them to immerse themselves in the curriculum and to interact with their peers in a way that no other format can duplicate. Individual sleeping rooms provide a quiet retreat for 5 nights (Saturday - Thursday).
Group dining, from Sunday breakfast through lunch on Thursday, provides opportunities to connect professionally and socially. Rooms, meals, and daytime snacks are included in the course tuition.
